LinkedIn Acquires Pulse – EPIC FAIL

Just over 9 months ago the social network LinkedIn paid 90 million to acquire the news app Pulse. Pulse had a very loyal user base. In 2010 its creators had built it to aggregate news sources from bloggers to USA today.

It surveyed news internet wide and placed the best stuff right up front. If you wanted small time news writers right next to big ones, you’d have loved it. Lots of people loved it. Then LinkedIn decided to update Pulse to what they envisioned it should be:

The response was the biggest fuck you I’ve seen the Internet give a company in a long time:
