Art 2014

I love art… but not in the same way my grandparents might love art. I love the type of art that makes boring parts of the world a bit more beautiful. Great product design does that; it injects beauty into our day to day lives. Great architecture fills out cityscapes with buildings worth admiring. Great photographers and editors on Instagram inject little bits of awe into our days. And great graffiti takes boring, blank canvases and turns them into something amazing. I just came across graffiti that takes 3D illusions to a new level of cool.

I think it’s fair to say, at this point, that art is no longer what it once was. It has evolved into something better. Where art was previously kept in museums, now it is where the world can see it.
